     Effective Communication I (4 hour training session)

     This training provides participants with information and the processes to individualize their approach in communicating.

  • 6 keys to establish and to elicit clear goals:
    • positive

    • in your control

    • manageable size

    • context defined

    • in sensory terms

    • of deep value

  • Sensory, language and non-verbal cues to increase ability to rapidly establish and maintain rapport.
  • Dominant communication and motivation styles of others in conjunction with ability to match diverse styles.
  • Ways to backtrack a person’s criteria words to deepen rapport.
  • Steps to appreciate different viewpoints for greater understanding.

Effective Communication II (Two 4 hour training sessions)

     This training uses two instruments, The Neurolinguistic Communication Profile (NCP) and Rapport: Matching and Mirroring Communication (Rapport), to help participants improve their on-the-job communication and productivity.

     NCP is a task-oriented self-analysis of a person’s preferred way of communicating. Rapport is a relationship-oriented analysis of an individual’s style of interacting. It focuses on developing the skill to match and mirror communication style of others.

     The NCP and Rapport are designed to strengthen one’s ability to communicate in the visual, auditory, and kinesthetic sensory modalities. The training includes:

  • Profiling participant’s communication style.
  • Increasing flexibility in communication style to increase rapport and reduce conflict.
  • Increasing ability to sort out task problems from relationship problems.
  • Improving practical verbal and non-verbal interpersonal skills in areas of
    • management development
    • customer satisfaction
    • team development
    • performance management
    • sales and negotiation
    • delegation

Effective Communication III (Two 4 hour training sessions)

     This training provides participants with skills, language patterns, and processes to address interpersonal problem solving, conflict resolution, and mediation.

  • Precision Language patterns to access high quality information and avoid miscommunication.
  • Presupposition Language pattern which suggests successful resolution of conflict.
  • Third person language, Anchoring, and physical positioning to minimize resistance.
  • Strategies and rapport skills to de-escalate anger.
  • Verbal and non-verbal strategies to create win-win negotiations.
  • Method to move participant off a non-productive stance.

     Stress Reduction (Two 4 hour training sessions)

     This training helps participants develop effective beliefs, tools, and physical techniques to manage stress.

  • Define stress and identify positive and negative stressors.
  • Incorporate methods to develop attitudes and beliefs that minimize stress.
  • Discover and practice effective strategies for coping with stressors.
  • Decrease stress by identifying personal commitment, control, and challenge.
  • Learn relaxation techniques plus physical exercises to decrease stress and balance right/left brain hemispheres.
  • Develop an action plan for each participant to manage stressors at work.

  Accelerated Learning (Two 4 hour training sessions)

     This training offers techniques to harness mental abilities to manage rapid high-tech changes and the information age.

     Efficiency increases as participants learn new skills at high speed. Also, motivation and health improves as a result of the stress-dissolving strategies that are built into these Accelerated Learning techniques.

Participants learn to:

  • Get into a productive mind/body state ideal for what is being taught.
  • Absorb information in a paced, rhythmic way.
  • Use music, graphics, stories, props, imagery, and memory devices to enhance concentration, memory, creativity and problem solving.
  • Make dull material interesting and easy to learn.
  • Profile an individual’s learning style.
  • Create positive work environments to appeal to learning styles and address work objectives.
  • Engage the mind, senses, emotions, and imagination for peak performance.
  • Overcome barriers to change and learning to build confidence.
  • Develop an action plan to apply accelerated learning for the organization’s training needs.

     Team Building (Two 4 hour training sessions)

     This training uses the NLP Personal Profile to identify a team’s motivation and decision making traits to improve communication and better match tasks to abilities.

  • Motivation and decision making characteristics of individual team members to foster team success.
  • Determine how current profiles relate to corporate culture.
  • Develop team mission and align objectives, beliefs, and identity.
  • Identify outstanding traits and teach other participants how to develop those traits.
  • Re-energize team with team building activities.

Presentation Skills (Two 4 hour training sessions)

     This training offers practical tools to motivate and influence an individual or group.

     Also, the training provides specific verbal and non-verbal techniques to minimize resistance and emphasize solutions when delivering bad news.

  • Identify and practice keys to effective communicating.
  • Resolve excessive anxiety caused by past or present negative experiences that may interfere with presentation.
  • Present material to appeal to all learning styles.
  • Utilize verbal and non-verbal techniques in delivery, such as gesture, voice patterns, tone, and spatial Anchors.
  • Practice verbal and non-verbal techniques to minimize resistance, emphasize solution and mediation.

Managing the Challenges of Change:
     Leadership Principles
    
(Two 4 hour training sessions)

 


     This training addresses developing vision, personal qualities, and behaviors that inspire others and fosters collaboration.

  • Identify and link personal and organizational vision.
  • Align objectives, behaviors, beliefs, identity, and vision for action.
  • Explore management and problem solving styles with respect to organizational vision.
  • Discuss strategies to enhance motivation, optimism, and flexibility in self and others during times of change.
  • Determine the balance of leading and managing.
  • Expand qualities of commitment and personal control to manage stress.

Enriching Creative and Critical Thinking
     (4 hour training session)

 

 


     This training provides participants with concepts and tools to enrich creative thinking in addition to creative problem solving.

  • Lateral thinking strategies, such as analogies, metaphors, and symbols.
  • Processes to stimulate creativity, such as the strategy of Walt Disney.
  • Define and uncover elements that create or contribute to problems.
  • Define and uncover alternatives and resources to resolve problems.
  • Address implications of change within a system.

     Coaching

     This training offers knowledge and practical skills in coaching designed to engage another person’s strengths toward the realization of performance potential and vision.

  • Design an outcome-oriented coaching plan defining:
    • the current state and the desired future state
    • goals into specific actions, including description of the skills and steps toward the skills
    • dates the steps will be met
    • what each agrees to do to assure steps will be achieved
    • what is the evidence that the steps are being obtained
  • Skills for building trust and supporting change, such as listening, understanding another person’s perspective, and language skills, such as:
  • Using open-ended questions, reflective listening, and reframing.
  • Generating powerful questions to enhance awareness, personal resources, beliefs an values, commitment to purpose, responsibility, accountability, as well as resolve ambivalence.
  • Giving positive and difficult feedback in a timely, specific format.
  • Skills to attend to the client’s agenda by recognizing and suspending own needs, judgments, perceptions, and advice and avoiding confrontational styles. Developing curiosity and flexibility is encouraged.
  • Specific processes to increase another person’s resources and strengths to effect change.
  • Providing structure through verbal and written processes creates an environment for action, learning, and accountability.
